Sonora MX Taqueria is a locally and family owned business by Karla & Raul, who are originally from a small town called Esperanza in Sonora, Mexico. Raul came from a family restaurant business (his Grandfather owned a restaurant for more than 40 years), so tacos have always been in his blood. Since Karla & Raul moved to Canada in 2017, their main goal was to open a Mexican restaurant (Taqueria) where they can serve authentic flavours inspired by the cuisine of northern Mexico.
